About The Company:

The client we deal with is one of the pioneering humane societies in the United Kingdom, and it stands as one of the largest such entities globally. Headquartered in London, this institution maintains a robust local presence and extends its anti-cruelty mission nationwide, earning recognition as a national animal welfare organization. It operates as a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation with a steadfast mission to provide effective means for preventing cruelty to animals throughout the United Kingdom.

Customer Challenges:

Our client approached us intending to enhance their service provision capabilities. To facilitate this objective, we sought to implement a Salesforce application, necessitating the resolution of several key challenges:

Complex Data Management: The client managed diverse data types, ranging from donor household information to volunteer and donation history, nonprofit member data, and organizational information. Inconsistencies in data management resulted in poor outcomes, duplicated efforts, and time wastage.

Lack of Donations and Grants Tracking System: The absence of a structured system for tracking donations and managing grants created difficulties in maintaining a comprehensive record of incoming opportunities.

Engagement Issues: Manual event management could have improved effective member engagement through events, programs, and conferences, presenting a significant operational challenge.

Volunteer Allocation: The client faced challenges in efficiently understanding and assigning tasks to the appropriate individuals at the right time, leading to uncertainty in resource utilization.

Solutions:

To address the challenges mentioned above, we devised a comprehensive solution, leveraging Salesforce NPSP capabilities:

To install Salesforce NPSP, we used the Sandbox environment and created a sandbox, configured the basic settings, such as compact layouts. Then, we went to the Salesforce Setup page, entered Company Information in the Quick Find box, and clicked Company Information to verify the Organization Edition.

To install NPSP on our existing Salesforce organization, we visited the NPSP Installer page, logged in to our Salesforce organization, and reviewed the installation list. We then clicked Install to complete the installation.

After installing NPSP, we configured custom fields, objects, and lists to meet our requirements. We used APIs for custom configuration.

Effective Data Management: Utilizing the customer management feature of Salesforce NPSP, we meticulously categorized and organized the data into various constituent groups, including supporters, clients, members, and partners. This strategic data segmentation empowered clients to harness their data more effectively, resulting in increased opportunities and improved program organization.

Results:

The successful implementation of our solutions resulted in significant improvements across various dimensions, underscoring the success of the project:

Increased Productivity and Time Reduction: The client experienced a notable boost in productivity and reduced time consumption upon the project’s successful delivery.
